As a Communications Associate, Ali works closely with the public relations team, as well as the marketing and brand strategy team to assist on multiple projects. She’s responsible for working with account leads to ensure timelines are followed, deliverables are executed, and deadlines are met. Working closely with all team members, Ali understands the importance of clear communication and adapting to the needs of clients.
Ali is a recent graduate from Marquette University’s Diederich College of Communication where she majored in Public Relations with a double minor in Marketing and Digital Media. Previously an intern at Kane, she has also interned with Marquette University’s Office of Marketing and Communication and Marquette’s Office of the President leading communication efforts on the Scaling Wellness in Milwaukee (SWIM) initiative, which provides resources to Milwaukee community members that have been affected by trauma.
Born and raised in a suburb of San Juan, Puerto Rico to Italian and Ukrainian parents, Ali developed a love for travel, while learning to speak Spanish and Italian at an early age.
Outside of work, you can find Ali volunteering in her community. Her strong personal ties to natural disasters in her hometown led her to become involved with Marquette M.A.R.D.I. G.R.A.S., a disaster relief organization focused on physical and societal rebuilding efforts in the Gulf Regions and Milwaukee area. Stepping into the role of Director of Marketing and Communications her senior year, her passions for communication and service ultimately intertwined. Through M.A.R.D.I. G.R.A.S., Ali has volunteered in the Milwaukee community with Pathfinders Milwaukee and United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County for their annual Project Homeless Connect.
