Velia believes in the power of communications. She knows the right communications strategies can build brands, protect reputations, solve business problems, and achieve other valuable results.

As the director of growth for the agency, Velia connects with organizations that need the solutions Kane Communications Group delivers – everything from branding to crisis communications, from digital marketing to video storytelling and more.

Velia understands every facet of communications from her time as an award-winning news reporter and anchor; as a corporate communicator representing global brands, including GE Healthcare and ManpowerGroup; and as a public relations practitioner at several integrated marketing communications agencies. She earned her journalism degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.

Outside of work, Velia enjoys spending her time with the family and friends she loves and seeing as much live music as possible.
